Care & maintenance

Upholstery fabrics

Many Flexform models have fully removable covers; others are fixed. Vacuum regularly, rotate and plump the down-wrapped cushions to keep their shape, and treat spills promptly. Confirm the cleaning code and whether covers are removable per model at order.

Leather

Aniline and semi-aniline leathers — as on the Ozzy chair — develop a patina over time. Keep out of sustained direct sunlight to limit fade, dust with a soft dry cloth, and condition occasionally with a leather-appropriate product. Avoid solvent cleaners.

Frames, rope & feet

Engineered frames and rope-wrapped detailing are built for decades of use. Dust rope and wood detailing with a soft dry cloth; metal and wood feet wipe clean without abrasives. Down-wrapped cushions benefit from regular plumping to stay full.
