Care & maintenance

Wipe brushed metal, brass and glass fronts with a soft, barely damp cloth and dry immediately; avoid abrasives and solvents that can mark a brushed or plated finish. Capacitive surfaces stay most responsive when clean and free of grease.

Brass & living finishes

Brass develops a patina over time; clean only with a soft dry cloth unless a protective finish is specified. Confirm the finish type at order so the right care is followed.

Software & integration

Keep the Basalte Home / Core software and device firmware current through your integrator, and use the specified power and bus infrastructure. Configuration and updates are best handled by a certified Basalte or KNX integrator.
