Care & maintenance

Stainless steel

Arclinea's signature steel worktops and sinks clean with a soft cloth along the grain and a mild detergent; avoid abrasive pads and chloride cleaners. Steel develops a soft patina of fine marks with use, which is normal for a working surface.

Wood & lacquer fronts

Wipe wood veneers and lacquer fronts with a soft, barely damp cloth and dry immediately; avoid solvents, abrasives and steam directly on the fronts. Keep the Gola aluminum profile clean for smooth handle-free opening.

Stone & appliances

Seal and clean natural stone per the stone type and wipe marble promptly after acidic contact. Service integrated appliances and extraction per their manufacturers, and keep runners and recessed handles clean for long, smooth operation.

Who designs Arclinea?

Architect Antonio Citterio has been Arclinea's sole designer and art director since 1987, and is the author of essentially every current collection — Italia, Convivium, Lignum et Lapis, Thea and others. That single-hand continuity over decades is the brand's defining feature: the whole catalog shares one design logic, finishes and proportions, so the pieces compose.

Is Arclinea part of Poliform?

No. Arclinea is not part of Poliform — that is a common misconception. Arclinea, founded in 1925 in Caldogno, has been part of the Flos B&B Italia Group since December 2018 (B&B Italia became its major shareholder in 2016). Poliform is a separate group and owns the Varenna kitchen brand, not Arclinea. We supply both.
